We might have figured out where the attackers are getting the passwords and usernames. It is a massive leak of login data that was published on Russian Telegram in May 2024. It contains over 361 million email addresses, usernames, and passwords, along with the websites where this login data were used, which the attackers obtained using some malware.
If you enter your email address on the site https://haveibeenpwned.com/ and find that one of the leaks is the same as on image below (leak on russian Telegram from May 2024), then your login data has been leaked and can be abused by anyone.
