That way, you are not an undercover cop, you are just hiding yourself as a cop in the radar. To go undercover, start the Police Officer job and press "Y" or type "/computer" to open Police Computer. In that, choose "Options" and enable "Undercover". This way, you will become an undercover cop. To check if you are an undercover cop, type /cops. If your name isn't there on the list, you are an undercover cop.
