I am not sure where you got this info but if it's true I get it this just means that we'll have to provide IP adresses to all the servers we join since inside of the client it's not gonna be listed anymore for Internet+Hosted tabs, however where else is it gonna be available? I've heard of OpenMP but they still don't have a client. All they got is the server side going for developers but yeah it's an SA-MP alternative that's just like it and improved. I wouldn't mind players shifting to that although I don't see players coming back unfortunately, that is if it doesn't reach as far in popularity as it's predecessor.
