Being a cop, the number one thing you need to remember is to always be super fast. I can not stress this enough. If you want to get a lot of police skills in a short amount of time, you gotta learn to move those fingers quicker, because trust me, it makes a huge difference.



Example 1: Quick Movement While In A Vehicle

Let's say that I'm at Market in Los Santos, and a crime gets reported in Ocean Docks, once that crime gets reported, start moving right away. Press W on your keyboard, then repeatedly press the up arrow key on your keyboard as it increases your speed. (Only works in bikes) When you are making a turn, always remember to slow down, make the turn as quickly and brief as possible and then keep moving forward. Also, remember to make dedicated pathways when you are headed to a crime, so that you can have it memorized and you can get there quicker.

Example 2: Quick Movement While On Foot

Now that you know how to be quick in a vehicle, you need to know how to be quick on foot. There are two keys on your keyboard that are extremely important: The LALT key, and spacebar. Once you exit out of vehicle and you're on foot pursuit, have your middle finger on the W key, and your right index finger repeatedly pressing the spacebar to increase your running speed. This will help you exponentially, especially if you are after an inexperienced player who is running normally. While you are hitting the spacebar repeatedly, also repeatedly hit the LALT key, so that when you finally reach the criminal, you can automatically arrest him and head back to your vehicle.
