Description
On our servers you are able to contact Merryweather, the whole inspiration for this idea came straight out of GTA V. Merryweather is considered as a private military company and security contractor, it provides to players some specific services and you can select them by accessing your phone while in-game. In this blog, I will discuss and break down everything related to this with the help of some videos that I have recorded except the sappers one which is not mine.

Where can I find and use Merryweather?
Step 1:
You can find Merryweather in your phone’s phonebook by default no matter what level you are. To open your phone type /phone or press Y and it will appear on the low right side of your screen looking like this:

Step 2:
Once you open your phone press SPACE while having the option Phonebook selected so you can open your Phonebook where all of your contacts can be found, then you will see this:

Step 3:
Now along with some other contacts you will be able to see Merryweather, head down using the movement controls (W, A, S, D) to select it and press SPACE once again to enter it. Once you open that contact you will be able to see all of its services like below:

The services provided by Merryweather in these images will be discussed one by one below in-detail.

First service – Ammo drop

The first service of Merryweather is called Ammo drop, once you select it a box with ammo inside will drop near your location, after a few seconds of calling. Make sure to select this option only if you are in an isolated area because other players can steal your ammo once it arrives. You can pick up the ammo for all weapons except minigun, RPG and Molotov. Check the video below that demonstrates the ammo drop service.

Second service - Airstrike

The second service of Merryweather is called Airstrike, once you select it you will have in your hands a flare that you can throw at any direction. When you throw the flare try to move away as fast as possible because complete mayhem is about to come, as the name suggests an airstrike will take place at the location of the flare that can damage and kill multiple targets. Check the video below for this service and how it looks like.

Third service – Hire mercenaries

The third and most popular service of Merryweather is the ability to hire mercenaries on a player that will try to kill him/her for the next 60 minutes, if they fail/success you will get a message on your phone that will notify you if they killed the player or not. The mercenaries are NPC’s that use the assault rifle M4, they spawn close to the target’s location and they shoot until their mission is finished. Keep in mind that your target can escape mercenaries by avoiding them (60 minutes) or by killing 10 of them without escaping one after the other, else they will keep spawning. Check the video below that demonstrates this specific feature as an example.

Fourth service – Hire sappers

The fourth and newest service that was added recently in Merryweather is called Hire sappers, it works similarly to hire mercenaries. The difference here is that sappers cost more but they have a higher chance of killing the selected target since they will try to plant a bomb in cars that the target will enter for the next 60 minutes. You can hire both sappers and mercenaries on two different targets at the same time but not for the same service. Unlike mercenaries, your target will only survive if he avoids entering cars for the next 60 minutes, he/she won’t be able to stop it faster than that. Check the video below created by the official YouTube channel of GTAMPCZ where this feature is demonstrated at the end of the video (2:05).

Side note about mercenaries and sappers: If you can't hire mercenaries or sappers on someone for the following X minutes then it means that the player just got killed from mercenaries or sappers. So, you have to wait an amount of time to be able to hire on them.

Fifth service – Boat

The fifth service of Merryweather is called Boat and by selecting it, it will locate on your minimap the boat called “DINGHY”. This service works similarly to the /locatecar command. Check the video below for details.

Sixth service – Helicopter

The sixth service of Merryweather is called Helicopter and by selecting it, it will locate on your minimap the helicopter called “SPARROW”. This service works the same way as Boat. Check the video below for details.

Seventh service – Buggy

The seventh and last service of Merryweather is called Buggy and by selecting it, it will locate on your minimap the car called “BANDITO”. This service works the same way as Boat and Helicopter. Check the video below for details.
