Hello everyone with another blogpost, Today's blog will be about the new minigame Shell Game


Now for those who still don't know what Shell Game also known as thimblerig, three shells and a pea, the old army game and it's often portrayed as a gambling game, but in reality, when a wager for money is made, it is almost always a confidence trick used to perpetrate fraud. In confidence trick slang, this swindle is referred to as a short-con because it is quick and easy to pull off. The shell game is related to the cups and balls conjuring trick, which is performed purely for entertainment purposes without any purported gambling element

In the shell game, three or more identical containers (which may be cups, shells, bottle caps, or anything else) are placed face-down on a surface. A small ball is placed beneath one of these containers so that it cannot be seen, and they are then shuffled by the operator in plain view. One or more players are invited to bet on which container holds the ball – typically, the operator offers to double the player's stake if they guess right. Where the game is played honestly, the operator can win if he shuffles the containers in a way which the player cannot follow.

In practice, however, the shell game is notorious for its use by confidence tricksters who will typically rig the game using sleight of hand to move or hide the ball during play and replace it as required. Fraudulent shell games are also known for the use of psychological tricks to convince potential players of the legitimacy of the game – for example, by using shills or by allowing a player to win a few times before beginning the scam.

But the server one is basic and easy to play so 3 coffee cups and one red ball and the dealer shuffle the cups and you will have to guess where it is

There are 10 Levels at shell game each level you win the shuffle will be more faster and if you reached Level 10 i will have to congrat you for having extraordinary focus and the game will reward you with achievement Reach Level 10 in Shell Game however I will give you full tutorial if your beginner so let's start



Where to find Shell dealers

- There are 10 dealers all across the map, You will eventually find them at popular places like Pershing square, Unity Station etc. if you found him press F or ENTER to start playing

As it shown in the video you have to guess where the red ball is, The more level you win the more faster the ball will be shuffled once you made your decision press D or A to choose between cups and press SHIFT to reveal ball location




As you can see from the video the higher level you reach the faster cups will be shuffled


Pro Tips

- Refrain from playing if you have High packetloss/Ping because you will have difficulties playing as the cups will be lagging and it will be harder to guess where the ball is
- Play in secluded area to avoid players from disturbing you to not lose your Focus
