Interview with TheJizzy

Interviews
Acceonit Acceonit 27/07/2022
Greetings! everyone today with another Interview with a special guest TheJizzy, TheJizzy is a Czech YouTube content creator who has gained popularity for sharing content about Rockstar Games titles such as Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption and more on his YouTube channel

First things first I would like to thank you for accepting my offer to be interviewed!

- Thank you too! I am glad that you are interested in an interview with me :D

Likewise, can you introduce yourself to the players and readers in the audience who still don't know you!

- Of course. I am a human being, an average gamer who loves making videos since 2006. So in 2007, I decided to start on YouTube with my older, first channel.

Can you tell us more about your name TheJizzy? is it inspired by the character in GTA San Andreas which knows as Jizzy-B?

- Actually, it wasn't my first nickname but my second. My first nickname was... well... not comfortable :D so I have to change it, Back in 2007 every player already has a nickname inspired by GTA characters so I choose Jizzy, but at that time I didn't know what his name mean, I was so young... also I am Jizzy C, not B. C stands for "Curlyen".

Let's talk about your YouTube career, what inspired you to become a YouTuber in the first place?

- Actually, I don't know. Back in 2006, I tried Windows Movie Maker on my old computer and I was fascinated by the filming of videos from GTA San Andreas so I made my very first short story movies.

It was on my old channel called "JizzyCZ" that I deleted later in 2011 and start with a new one, Let's say I saw something unique, and special, in making videos from GTA games, and I fell in love with it.

What made you choose GTA games as the main content in your channel? and most importantly what was your first video back in 2011 when you created your new channel?

- It was basically the passion and love for GTA games. My first GTA game was Grand Theft Auto 2 on my old PS1. Then GTA 3, Vice City, and GTA San Andreas came and it was totally different level.

Unfortunately, I don't remember my first video back in 2011 because due to some YouTube issues, copyrights, etc. I had to delete over 90 videos, There is a video from GTA SA and it is a parody of the Heavy Rain game but it is not my "first" video on my new channel.

What do you think of GTA 1 back when you had PS1 and what's your opinion on the evolution of the GTA games series?

- It was something unique, interesting, and so much fun that you can play it again and again, explore the cities, drive vehicles, etc. I am so happy that I grew up with the evolution of Grand Theft Auto games from the whole beginning.

That's great, and how did you start your YouTube Career?

- Oh of course. But first I would like to say that I don't take YouTube as a career, it's mainly a hobby. I already have a job in real life, It was in 2007 circa, I was fascinated by the filming of videos and I made my very first short story movies. So-called Machinima films, It was on my old channel called "JizzyCZ" that I deleted later in 2011 and start with a new one. The old channel focused mainly on Czech watchers.

How did you find the WTLS servers?

- I know GTA-MP.CZ WTLS servers for a long time, I think from its beginning but I was playing mostly on foreign servers, niCe asked me to make some trailer or short video from WTLS and I said why not, WTLS servers are most unique in San Andreas Multiplayer mode, I love every new feature on them and those servers definitely deserve to be seen and visited.

Then you're probably looking forward to the changes of the next update in drug base business?

- I'm really curious what it will be like. When I remember how I found out about the meth cooking feature inspired by Breaking Bad I was like... say whaaaat xD So... maybe I will make some video about it, maybe later. It depends on my time capacity too.

Cool, Let's move on. What videos are you planning to release next on your channel? or do you like to keep it a surprise for your beloved subscribers :D?

- Stay tuned and be surprised :D I don't always make spoilers. But when I do, it's for something really big, I and my very close friend The Joe are working on our last Machinima movie called Alien Invasion: Revelations from GTA San Andreas environment. With English voice acting, some of our subscribers already saw the teaser and trailer Coming soon, In case you missed it

Such an Amazing GTA trailer, I am really looking forward to watch the movie, which software do you use to make this type of content, DYOM? Blender? SFM?

- All thanks to my friend The Joe. He is the main director of the whole movie, I helped with the story, mods, "pawn" the programming language, and maps, The Joe is really talented guy and animations are made mainly in 3D Studio Max. Visuals are made in Adobe After Effects I think.

Actually, Alien Invasion Revelations is a "free sequel" to my old Alien Invasion that I directed and released back in 2012.... daaamn, I feel old. It is already 10 years, Aaaand in case, you missed my old Alien Invasion machinima movie so you can watch it on my second channel JizzyFilms where I uploaded some of my old movies as a backup. Before starting watching, don't forget to grab some popcorn xD
(Czech voice acting and English subtitles)

Good Luck with the movie, Hence this type of video takes a lot of work and time so on average, how long does it take for you to upload a video?

- Thank you! Well, this type of video takes... you can't say average, it is super individual. A really big and good movie can take 2-3 years we can say. Storyline, modifications, scripts, maps, actors (players), NPC bots, voice actors, camera, scenes, postproduction, visual effects, custom animations or 3D models, music, and tons of other things, We are doing it in our free time and we don't get paid for these movies.

Understood, According to you, what type of GTA content works on YouTube at the moment?

- Actually, I don't know. I do what I love to do and I have a list of plans for videos, But sadly these days mainly clickbait videos work., Like... oh look, there is a real Transformer in GTA San Andreas discovered after 18 years since the release. Super secret hidden place lol... and it's just a mod to bait the audience on YouTube, I will not name some 'experts' for this type of clickbait. But I am sure some people know whom I talk about.

I see that you made a video about this kind of video from YouTubers like Madd Carl and Madd Trevor. What do you think of them, and how do you find their way of earning viewers & subscribers using clickbait mods, and perhaps will you do the same, or do you want to make your content solidly true?

- I don't know what to say more because I already said everything in my video, and no, I am not about to get in the way they became so-called click baiters so they bait people on YouTube to speed up earning viewers, likes, or subscribers, I rather keep my content as I want it to be - true and always with proper links if it is related to modifications.

So far you are one of the biggest GTA YouTubers and of course, you have an active fanbase, what's the best comment you had ever received in one of your videos?

- Wow... you got me. I actually don't remember, I am getting many comments every single day, but I remembered one thing... I made a contest a few years ago and one fan made the best meme about my YouTube channel.

Back to the days when people used to believe there is antagonist ghosts and slendermans, bigfoot, Leatherface, and the N blip on the map, ah... yes the N blip as you get to see content creators traveling infinite oceans to find nothing

- Ahh yes... I remember those days when I was scared of the dark woods of Shady Creeks or Panopticon and looking for Bigfoot or Leatherface during rainy or foggy nights... on my old PS2. (, Piggy Face, Leatherface, Aliens, UFO, The N blip on the map, Yetti hiding somewhere on Mount Chiliad... Ghosts or a Witch in Las Brujas in the Bone County desert, Well even I tried to travel there when I was super young XD, I was always wondering what is behind the infinite ocean... well on PS2 there is actually huge "nothing", not even water because of hardware limits if I remember correctly, but on PC there is just infinite ocean plus if we get beyond the specific coordinates the game starts to get really broken.

what will you do if you didn't start your YouTube channel?

- It's Still the same thing that I do now I guess. My real-life job that I love.

What's your job?

- I am a project manager in one company that makes internet websites and e-commerce.

So let's talk more about your videos, have you one day said something falsehood in one of your videos?

- I hope I didn't. I don't remember.

Looking back and seeing your old videos and content, what would you change if you can?

- I would not change anything and making old good machinima videos back in years like 2007-2016 was the best times I spent while gaming and having fun with lots of great people I met, since 2015 or 2016 everything gradually changed to whole different content and level. Even today I like to watch my friend's old machinima movies and just remember those old times when we were kids or teenagers while making movies in San Andreas Multiplayer.

This way I say hi to old-school clans and movie teams I've been in back in time:
WSG (West Side Gang), BST (Black Speed Tigers), FOX Productions, KON Portal, Eagle Eye Productions (EeP), Orange Productions (oP), GTATheater.

How do you manage your time between work and life? Tell us more about the struggles you've faced and are facing and how you overcame them?

- It is not as difficult as it may sound but yeah, sometimes I don't know what to do first, I have a calendar with a to-do list for work and in my free time, I try to make videos, be with my girlfriend, or be with friends.

Great to hear, another thing do you have a manager that takes care of your business affairs, or do you personally take care of it?

- No, I don't have a manager. I rather take care of things by myself.

Is there anyone you would like to partner with on a special video?

- I have already done it with my friend The Joe, Alien Invasion is our very special project.

I see, many people aspire to be like you, what would be your advice to them?

- If you would like to do something in real life so just start. The start is the most important thing, If you are about to start on Youtube but you still thinking about if it makes sense then stop thinking and just start, every single person is unique and thinks differently. So make your content unique, Do what you love to do.

In your case, what is your inspiration for doing this? And is there someone you want to give credit for your success?

- Actually, I don't have any inspiration, or I didn't have, I started to record videos in 2006 on my old computer and edit them in Windows Movie Maker. Then I just tried to upload them on Youtube, I liked how people watched those videos on my channel and give ratings like 1-5 stars and comment on them, So I just continue making videos, I just grew up with YouTube, I think there is nobody specific to whom I would like to give credit.

Who is the one video that has Influenced your growth the most and how?

- I think it's the GTA San Andreas Secrets and Facts series that influenced growth the most.
I've never expected that, I do love myths, legends, easter eggs, and secrets, exploring the game world, and talking about things, so I decided to make videos about it and people love it.

I remember how me and my brother back in 2004 when GTA SA was released, we were exploring Shady Creeks and Panopticon during rainy nights on our old PS2, looking for hints, and we were super scared XD, We thought that Leatherface appears and kills us with the chainsaw.

Or wandering on and around Mount Chillad and looking for Bigfoot footprints, UFOs, and Aliens thanks to Lil Probe Inn in the desert where we could find the BETA map of GTA SA with pins on it which could indicate sightings of UFOs lol
and much more mysteries back in time XD

do you have pets?

- Yes I do. A dog named Ben

Is that a reference to Ben the talking dog?

- Lol, no, no. No reference.

What are your favorite movies/TV shows?

- My favorite movies are Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, movie Crazy Stupid Love, Taken movies with Liam Neeson, and more.

My favorite TV shows are How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM), The O.C., The Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, The Witcher, and some anime like Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass, Naruto, High School of the Dead...

What's your favorite Song/Artist?

- I don't have favorite songs or artists I think, but I love Linkin Park, Green Day, soundtracks from movies, games, and more...

Great movies Indeed, What was the best vacation you ever took?

- Probably Paris with my best friend and HatÄ› near Znojmo city with my GF. The place is known as Czech Disneyland.

Moving on then, if one thing you could change about the YouTube platform or Social Media what it will be?

- I would not change anything, every single platform or application is a "living form", technologies are improving and changing so platforms must too.

I see that you currently posted a total of 499 videos on your channel, will the 500 videos be special?

- No, I don't do such specials, If I would not delete like 90 videos in past because of youtube issues with copyrights and shit so today I could have around 600 videos.

What's your favorite video you've uploaded?

- I don't know, to be honest, it is hard to choose between 500 videos Maybe I don't have a favorite one, but my most viewed video is this one:

It's already 5 years old... damn I feel old (again) xD

10m views that's a lot of zeros, Let's talk about the crazy moments you ever had? Does anything come up in mind?

- Oh yeah, well, I remembered one, it was back in like 2010 or 2011... I was in KON Portal (film studio) and well, I or we (me and few friends) had some disagreements with leaders and why it was crazy? Because it was, there was a huge rivalry between KON and EeP (Eagle Eye Productions) and members from KON had a "ban" that they couldn't join the SA-MP server by EeP with Xmas Party...

I said fuck it, I go there, and yeah... shit happens, some talk with leaders and I left KON. Then I joined OP (Orange Productions) where I was super happy and made 2 huge machinima movies (Alien Invasion back in 2012 and Afterlife (Survival film with zombies) 1 and 2).
It was crazy between KON and EeP and stupid too... well we were young, teenagers mostly.

They didn't care, I decided to leave KON. Rival with EeP was intense with all the shit talk around, at last, I rather leave and join OP.
I knew people in EeP and they are totally okay and very talented. I can say OP and EeP were friends, such a history huh, Yeah. Well, shit happened, it's a past.

Is there any famous person you would like to meet with in real life or Collab with in a video?

- I would like to meet and say Hi to PewDiePie + took a photo with him, I watch him since his beginning when he was playing Amnesia Dark Descent game and screaming in jump scares :D, That's all. There is no person I would like to collab with.

impressive, let's talk about you now, when did you realize you were famous in the GTA community?

- Unfortunately, I don't know exactly. Probably sometime when I made like the 4th or 5th episode of the Secrets and Facts series, But not sure.

Do you enjoy being famous?

- I don't feel like I am famous. It's nice to see when people know me when I join some samp server for example, but I rather play, relax and talk normally with others.

In your perspective how do you deal with toxic players and negative commenters? Do you simply ignore them? Or do you do something else?

- I simply ignore them.

Where do you get the ideas for your content, do you get them from your fans or yourself?

- Myself, sometimes from fans

What is the best advice you could give to a new GTA YouTuber?

- Do what you want to do and ignore other haters, you can always become a YouTuber, not only a GTA YouTuber, Good luck!

Every YouTuber has his equipment and kits to use and make their best video each time, as an experienced YouTuber what will you recommend them to use?

- Well, it depends. If you are a beginner or starting YouTuber, I recommend you not to pay for expensive equipment but start with some low-cost stuff, then as time flows you will see your need to do better and better videos.

Let's talk about your hobbies, how do you spend your free time?

- I spend my free time with my girlfriend or with friends. Also trying to make videos, that's my main hobby.

Good Choice, What games do you play besides SA:MP and GTA Games?

- The Witcher 3, Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Complete (game from 1999, but still the best of the series), Metal Gear Solid series, Uncharted series

The Witcher 3

Heros of Might and Magic 3

Metal Gear Solid

Uncharted

Let's move on to WTLS now, what do you think about the community? And the management?

- The community and management team on WTLS Servers are very nice and friendly! Personally, I didn't have any problem with players and management, of course like every other YouTuber has haters even though I do have haters and also on WTLS servers. But that's normal.

What's your impression of our lead manager?

- Nice and fair guy, genius

While playing on our server what feature/event have you liked and done many times?

- It's probably Heists, Fishing, Safecracking, Mystery Hunting... and events like Fallout and Undead Nightmare. But on WTLS servers there are tons of features and they are always somehow unique and I really like every single feature.

What's your favorite heist and mystery?

- The Nice House Job and UFO Mystery

If you can describe WTLS servers in 3 words what will it be?

- Unique, Friendly, loads-of-fun xD

So as you may know our lead manager is developing a FiveM WTLS server, will you make a video about it?

- I have already visited the server while in Beta at a specific phase called "GPRZAVIZVO", but currently, I don't have much time to try it more, But be sure I will visit it again sometime and probably I will make some video about it.

What would you like to achieve on YouTube?

- I don't have a goal on YouTube.

Final question, what do you think of the Interviews blog? Have you read them?

- Tbh didn't have much time to read interviews

So we almost reached an end for this interview but before we mention some of the interview's guest favorite things on our server

Favorite job: Trucking, Pizzaboy
Favorite color: Blue
Favorite vehicle:- Sabre, Buffalo
Favorite minigame:- Pool, Basketball
Favorite event: Fallout, Undead Nightmare
Favorite feature: I really like every single feature and it is hard to choose one
Favorite place: Las Venturas, Desert and Countryside
Favorite administrator: I don't know many helpers or administrators and when I met someone, they are always very nice and helpful. For example MaNiTi or R3dfield (I am sorry if the nickname is wrong) awesome and very kind.
Favorite helper: Also Nadiroski player is very helpful. I think is a helper, right?

Jizzy, is there anything else you want to say to your beloved subscribers and fans?

- Yes actually, So what I would like to tell to my subscribers is...
Thank you guys so much for your huge support and big respect to all my loyal fans out there :)
You can await more videos not only from WTLS servers but from all GTA games in general. Stay tuned!
Also I got many messages and questions about how to get subscribers and how to become huge YouTuber etc., or some asks for "sub for sub"... Remember, it is not about how many subscribers you have, "Subscribe" is something you must deserve. Also "subscriber" is just a number, It is somebody that click on the subscribe button. That doesn't mean that subscriber can watch all of your videos, It's just a person who liked some of your videos and decided to give you a chance and subscribe. Remember, it is up to you what you upload, what you like, You cannot really fulfill the wishes of all subscribers. That's impossible. But you can work hard and achieve something if you are good enough. :)

Comment on your thoughts about this Interview, thank you for reading.. and make sure to follow Jizzy's socials, Note: a voucher can be found here, good luck
