Hello everyone with another interview, Today's guest will be our recent promoted ModeratorRaiYou, Now RaiYou is one of the most rule breakers/cheaters catcher in our servers and he was recently promoted to Moderator, so Enjoy reading
Welcome RaiYou first of all I would like to thank you for accepting me offer to be interviewed
- sure thing, hopefully this won't take too much time
Can you introduce yourself to the readers who still don't know you?
- Hey there. My name is RaiYou, I'm 17 years old and I currently live in Long An Province, Vietnam. I used to live in Ho Chi Minh City but I transferred to the countryside since 13th August 2019 for a more peaceful life.
Why's that, Was Life city more crowding or you prefer as you said peaceful one?
- We had some serious family problems with my father so I decided to move out to end this nightmare once and for all as we had to bear with it for the past few years, this also made me not being able to go to school anymore but I'm looking forward to attending English course in an English center as I've always been passionate in studying English since I was in elementary school of course.
Since you moved out from the city have you found a job that pays off your bills and living conditions?
- I'm not working or studying right now due to some aforementioned family problems I mentioned, unfortunately. Reality might be cruel to me, frankly.
What are your plans for future to make your reality... less cruel? Have you thought of using this sort of skill of moderation in order to apply for a job or something?
- I will try to find a job in the future for my living, though it might be hard due to being in the countryside there are only a few places that can hire me.
I don't mean to interfere in your personal business but will you do something about your family problem sooner?
- I don't want to answer this question for personal reason, apologize.
If you say so, Good luck in your life Rai I wish you the best, Now with with our next question what does your nickname means?
- I joined an MTA:SA community in which a player had this nickname before, and speaking of that community it was originally a community with server features based on various Need For Speed games and I came to play there back in 2017 and left in 2019. There, I met a player with this nickname and I decided to use it here because it was kind of cool in my opinion. I'm an otaku myself so this nickname perfectly fits me.
How do you compare MTA Community with WTLS ?
- MTA has better synchronization therefore I've only played one server called "Need For Speed: San Andreas" up until this moment, but its con is the loading screen takes almost forever so I couldn't easily familiarize my experience there as I used to be with WTLS.
On WTLS there are a lot of interesting things to do that can take care of entertainment for hours with absolute certainty so that's why I truly fell in love with this community, it's indeed a great community with efficient Anti-Cheat system. I used to play on different servers but they weren't as great as WTLS due to lack of necessary updates, low player base as well as poorly-scripted Anti-Cheat so if someone has ever played on one of these servers they might be able to describe how horrible these SA-MP servers are. To sum things up I have this motto when it comes to the gaming experience: "Less grinding, more fun".
That's good now next with your hobbies, What do you do if you have spare time?
- I usually play games, listen to music or even watch anime during my spare time to help alleviate my boredom. Speaking of anime, KyoAni is undoubtedly one of the best anime studios I've ever seen, it was such a tragedy when their studio got burned due to an arson attack back in July 2019 though.
So what games you usually play?
- It's mostly Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas which I can play beloved the SA-MP modification, on other occasions I'll play a racing game called "Driver San Francisco" because their moding community did marvelous work in revitalizing a 2011 game.
Since you are a fan of Driver:San Francisco have you tried to play other games from the published company and as known Ubisoft?
- I haven't had the opportunity to try out other games published by Ubisoft, so the answer is no.
You also mentioned you like to listen to music what's your favorite song or OST?
- My favorite songs are Warriyo - Mortals (feat. Laura Brehm) and Three Days Grace - Animal I Have Become
What do you think of the arson attack at Kyoto Animation building, did Aoba done it in purpose or for revenge?
- According to this statement from a new I just read:
"Japanese media, citing unnamed police sources, reported in the aftermath that Aoba’s motive was the belief that Kyoto Animation had stolen a novel he wrote." - I believe he did it on purpose to vent his frustration without thinking carefully about his actions beforehand, but that's just my humble opinion after all.
That is a shame that many souls were gone for such an tragedy, Let's move on It is known that you are Anime fan can you tell us more and what anime you like?
- I usually watch romantic/drama anime that involves high school life, but there are some others that I like watching too regardless of different genres. If someone can recommend some good anime in the future, I will surely give them a watch.
What are your favorite animes so far?
- OreGairu, Aobuta, Amagi Brilliant Park, Hyouka, Kyoukai no Kanata and Sword Art Online

2 Fast 2 Furious
Chinese Zodiac
Death Race Series
Since we finished with your hobbies let's move to WTLS, As you said you came back to our servers at June 2021 how did you find the WTLS community than other ones?
- One of my old friends invited me to WTLS when we used to play on a zombie server before, so yeah after he sent me the invitation I dropped by S3 and at first I didn't know what to do other than wandering around the city. Until one point, some players helped me and since then I got to know of WTLS servers better now.
Then why you have decided to join WTLS Staff Team?
- Lack of necessary updates, as well as low player base discouraged me from continuing my work there. Therefore, I resigned and decided to return WTLS and start over again instead.
And do you intend to use your management skills in making WTLS a better server?
- With what I've learned when I was working as a Manager for a zombie server for three months, I'll surely devote my skills to helping make WTLS servers the best out of other English servers.
I want to congrat you for being promoted to Moderator since you put hard-work as a Helper by reporting rule breakers and cheaters in our servers to maintain stability, Can you tell us more about how did you started your work as Helper after moving out from the other server?
- Alright so. Before I decided to return and apply for Helper position in WTLS I used to be both a Head Administrator and a Manager for two different servers/communities, but sadly in one of them, I got fired and permanently banned thanks to the corrupted management who couldn't even differentiate whether it's modified vehicle handling or not. Frustrated, I decided to join the other community where I also applied for Helper position and managed to make my way up to Lead Administrator until January 2021 when the community fell downhill. Despite that, I opted to hang on and continued to serve them as a Server Manager until June 2021 and it was exactly the same time when I returned to WTLS already.
Back to WTLS now, I originally applied for Helper position on 12th July 2021, and ever since I have overcome many challenges and difficulties while coping with pressure from the different way of management that works here and I got familiar with it now, it's a much well-managed server in contrary to other SA:MP servers out there. One day, I woke up and received a red message from niCe saying I have been accepted for Moderator position and I felt so proud of myself because I finally achieved what I expected a long time ago. Exactly on 8th February 2022, I got promoted and my new career in WTLS starts here. That's pretty much it for now.
In the end your hard-work has paid off so how are you currently handle your Moderator position. are you familiar with responsibilities and duties to help the players? Have you faced any recent issue dealing with them?
- Out of many problems I've met and solved both in-game and web, I have to bluntly say that scam reports are the difficult ones to handle because there are still out there many players who can easily fall into one's words and then let themselves get scammed later just because of their stupidity and greediness. However, we can prevent these from happening more frequently by advising everyone to earn money on their own and not to be too naïve when someone asks them for some mere penny.
After two weeks of learning almost everything, I got used to how to handle the position professionally and exceptionally now, except that I'm not that confident in catching those who use Aimbot hands down. Despite that lack of self-confidence, I still can co-operate with other admins/mods as a team to catch them whenever we can. Cheaters will soon be banned enough.
Good Luck Rai, Now our servers website had a recent upgrade with the new webpage design and many new features what do you think about them?
- It's definitely awesome, out of the new webpage design niCe introduced I firmly think the "Forum rules" section received special treatment.
Yeah I agree that the server's website looks more irrelevant, and also the return of Shout Box when it have been removed for 1 year now also with the new treatment of contest section as it has it's own page in our website, What do you think about them, Will you host/participate in them?
- Right now I'm participating in the "Pickpocketing skills in S3" one and I will try my best to be in the top 10 before the contest comes to an end. Other than that, I would like to host my own contest in the future as well.
And perhaps what type of the contest category you will host?
- Most security guard skills one, it's also my favorite job where you can join up to 3 other players to earn some quick cash and RP together.
That's good challenge and Now what do you think about the current contest of VC:MP which is hosted by our lead manager niCe?, Will you join it?
- I used to play GTA Vice City when I was like 10 - 11 years but I quit playing it after some time so I don't think I'd be able to put my enthusiasm for that one sadly.
Until know what's the thing should be added/removed from our server or website from your experience so far?
- There isn't anything particular that I want to be removed from the servers right now, but I hope niCe will plan to add driving NPC's on some part of the game world exclusively in the future. That should help make the game world feel more realistic and alive at the very least.
So what's your most feature you do in our server in order to earn cash and also you recommend for players, I think you prefer Security Guard job since I saw you multiple time in San Fierro working, Is this job rewards good and decent for new players in order to level up?
- I would strongly recommend new players to give a try for Hotdog vendor, it's the easiest job and easy to grind cash by selling them to players in a crowded place such as Ammu-Nation in Market. I, on the other hand, and as you said Security guard because I can easily earn XP from it if I am to do the job in San Fierro unless I have friends to back me up.
I think that's enough thanks again for accepting my offer to be interviewed I'm looking forward to see more of your work RaiYou
- It was pleasure
Before we end we ask the guest of the interview some of his favorite things and features in our server:
One last question what you specifically like this Helpers and Administrators?
- xGreg: We formed a close relationship after we argued about something trivial four or five months ago, and it's still going well as ever.
- Evelynn: Despite not talking a lot with her she still seems to be a special person in the helper team, especially given the fact I'm in the same organization as her.
- Deprs: We usually have our banter from time to time, so yeah that's what makes me feel positive when interacting with him.
- Lottie & SaNJiD: They're the ones who helped me a lot when I became a moderator so yeah I can't thank them enough for teaching me how to handle the job carefully and diligently, plus I like them better than the other admins in S3.
- Shinobi & Bull: Although I don't play on S2 much I also find them as friendly and helpful to me, and I'd get surprised when Shinobi comes to S3 sometimes haha.
Thanks for reading the interview if you like it make sure to press Like and Comment If you don't... well... message me and tell me what part you didn't like and I will try to avoid it in the future, Have a good day
Awesome interview and an awesome guest! :D You're doing a perfect job as a staff member, RaiYou so keep it up, you're an inspiration! And to be honest I didn't expect you to put me as a favorite helper :D but I appreciate it really! You have always been interesting to me and I enjoyed reading your interview. I wish you good luck with everything! :D
“17yo and still watches kid cartoon LOL LMFAO” I don't see no problem with it in my opinion I do like anime as it's enjoyable and contain life-style and entertains the viewer also the purpose is to faithfully adapt and bring life to the source material. Manga is a far more efficient medium for story telling. that every story has its purpose, but there is a purpose that all animes share, like the form of art that it is, regardless of whether they are pure entertainment or with meaningful message : Communicate something, Intentionally or unintentionally, every animation or story in general communicates something., This is the main purpose of every form of art, and anime is not an exception, But I understand your opinion about anime as if you think it's for 'kids' but it's immature to hate or mock someone who is enjoying it
