Greetings everyone and welcome to the English WTLS Awards 2024 - Informational blog where we recap the finalists in each category who received the most nominations. Within 24 hours of this blog post's publication, 13 votes will start (https://www.gta-multiplayer.cz/en/polls/). This is your chance to participate and support your chosen player by casting your vote for the most deserving candidate in each category.

In total, 131 players submitted their nominations, which is 37 more than last year's nomination count. However, around 25% of the nominations are not counted as they have not followed the rules properly and the nomination process was not without any problem.

A total of 20 players (including organizations) were eliminated during the nomination process as they indulged in mass fraudulent nominations. This is the complete list of players that got eliminated.

This is the second time MalikShehryar's organization is getting eliminated. Pathetic behavior from the CEO of B.E.A.S.T.S. That's why, we have decided that the B.E.A.S.T.S organization will not allowed to take part in the next 2 consecutive year's Awards event. It might sound harsh, but this is the only way to punish repeated rule breakers.

That's it for the finalists and now the most important question.

Can a player vote for themselves in the final votes?
Yes, but a vote that a player casts for themselves will not be taken into account if there is a tie. For example, in the final of category 1 there will be Tom, John and Frank. Player Tom gets 50 votes, player John gets 49 votes and player Frank gets 40 votes. However, Tom gave himself a vote, while John did not. Therefore, Tom will have one vote deducted and the 1st and 2nd place prizes will be split evenly between Tom and John.

The same applies to the organizations. E.g. In the final of category 11 there will be Fighters, Noobs and Warriors. The Fighters will get 50 votes, the Noobs 49 votes and the Warriors 40 votes. The CEO of the Fighters has given his organization a vote, while the CEO of the Noobs has not given his organization a vote. Thus, the Fighters will have one vote deducted and the 1st and 2nd place prizes will be split evenly between the Fighters and Noobs.

And the most important thing is, any begging / asking or bribing for votes is not allowed, and players who do this will lose their chance to receive any rewards.
