I absolutely hate jobs.

Introduction
You may or may not agree with me, but I will say it anyway. I cannot stand doing jobs, I absolutely hate it. Whether it is forklift driver, bus driver, paramedic - you name it, I cannot do it for longer than 5 minutes. Why? Simply because it is incredibly boring. Ultimately, we play to have fun, and there is no fun in driving around in a bus, stopping at a bus stop every minute and repeating the same process for many minutes, or hours. That is not how I enjoy playing SA-MP. You are telling me there are dozens of different jobs? Great, that gives me dozens of different ways to get bored.

The never-ending demand for money
However, the numerous activities from which we derive fun, demand game money. We cannot ride in expensive cars or shoot with weapons, if we do not have the money to purchase them. And playing without premium is a no-no for me. Thus, I have a problem. I want to kill people with minigun, occasionally terrorize the sky with that marvellous yet ferocious steel jetfighter that goes by the name "Hydra" and enjoy premium benefits, but I am not willing to do jobs. In my first few years on WTLS, I did not mind doing jobs, especially with in-game friends which made jobs slightly more fun. But as time progressed, it became increasingly boring. And at a certain point, I could not stand doing jobs for more than 5 minutes. But my demand for minigun and the occasional action with a Hydra or Hunter has not disappeared, and I still need game money to finance those activities. How on earth can I solve this? Over the years I have come up with some ways of earning significant amounts of money without having to do jobs. I shall name some of them below.

Spraying tags
Yes, you heard it, picking up a spray can and spraying over enemy gang tags (assuming we all love Grove Street Families). It is a very easy yet effective way to earn significant amounts of money within a short period of time. The base payout is $5,000. With a boost, you can double it to $10,000 per tag. The current summer bonus adds another $5,000 per tag, and if you obtain a certain diploma from Greenglass College, the payout increases by $500 per tag. This all adds up to a whopping $15,500 per tag sprayed. Recently, I already showed how easy it is to earn money with it. It does not matter whether I am in a gang or casually driving around in my expensive car, whenever I come across tag locations I can quickly scan them and earn a quick $15,500 per tag. One important requirement for this method of earning quick money is knowing many tag locations from GTA SA singleplayer.

Robbing containers
Containers can be found at Ocean Docks for example. The spawn rate is low but if you are lucky, you may come across one and the eventual payout can be enormous. I have come across containers that yielded a total value of over $500,000 each. To make the process more time-efficient, I usually check for containers while flying in a Hydra. One moment I am bombing gang members, the next moment I am flying across the map to see if a container has spawned.

Organisation
I started my own organisation and bought numerous perquisites, such as upgrades for the CEO cars and offices. I had to dig deep into my virtual wallet to finance all this, but it also came with benefits. First of all, I get to start CEO challenges and kill any person that dares to interfere with my challenge without repercussions, and earn money alongside it. I also get to do CEO jobs. Pardon me, CEO... jobs? Yes, occasionally I may still get into a Trashmaster and do my service for Los Santos for a whole minute straight. Usually the payout is good and on top of that I also get RP, with which I can also purchase premium or a Hunter if I have collected enough RP. And lastly, I get to hire players for my organisation and let them earn money for me.

My last resort
But what if I am stranded in Idlewood after a long period of inactivity (usually months or even more than a year), with no cash at hand, no tokens, and no premium? Am I going to sell some of my assets, such as minigun and fancy cars, to purchase tokens and buy premium? But I do not want to sell my assets, so am I finally going to do jobs? Am I seriously contemplating doing jobs to purchase premium? No, of course not. I will just go to the WTLS website, visit the game shop and pay real money to purchase premium, perhaps alongside some other items. I am not a fan of this option, hence the subtitle "my last resort". But if this is what it takes to prevent me from taking the bus, stopping at a bus stop every minute and repeating this process many times, so be it.

Final word
Alright, you got me. The final conclusion is that I simply lack the discipline to do jobs for longer than 5 minutes. So what? I can afford heavy weaponry, premium and fancy cars and I do not have to worry about the prospect of having to do jobs for longer than a few minutes. Whoever is reading this, if you are still doing jobs on a regular basis, I hope you are having a lot of fun driving that bus.

if you are still doing jobs on a regular basis, I hope you are having a lot of fun driving that bus.I drove an Armoured Car from point A to point B 3,356 times
why?
because I wanted to win 1st place in a Securicar contest and I didn't even care about the prize money I just wanted to be 1st in that contest
Did I win?
No, I lost by a margin of 31 points I got 2nd place
From that day onwards I hated Contests and never participated in any of them
I just wanted you to know all that.

I don't see gambling anywhere
I believe that is the best option
It is not a tutorial though, this blog post is about my personal experience regarding jobs and my preferred ways to earn money without doing boring jobs. Besides, gambling is not even a reliable method of earning money, it comes with a lot of risk and I have had my fingers burned by gambling several times in the past.

Doing jobs is what made me get bored of WTLS, to be honest with you.

I forgot how to have fun and just enjoy the moment. I don't mind doing jobs but like you said, it gets boring and boring if you do it on a daily basis.

I also feel like players don't wanna make friends or connections no more because of the selfish mindset. "I want a FT car, 999 days house, fuck the others, be better than others" is what made this game hyper-competitive and boring. I find it hard to find new friends as a regular player since most of the players are looking for "rich" friends or admins, or whatever, just to gain respect and money, basically "gold diggers".

On the other hand, there's nothing wrong with doing jobs. Sure, it gets you bored and wants you to /q sometimes, but I see people doing it for stats or unlocking new stuff.

As a conclusion, I don't hate or love jobs, I'm a 50/50 person.

I also agree with this.
Personally, I feel like jobs are better to be performed with friends or other players.Since most of my friends stays inactive, nothing is kept in there for me though 🥲
