Hello everyone and welcome to another blog post, in which I will explain everything about the unique feature, ‘Car Workshop’.

Description:

Car Workshops can be purchased for 30 days, in which you can buy and sell cars to make profit. Here is what the interior of what a Car Workshop looks like:



As you can see, I have purchased all the upgrades for the Car Workshop, but if you are starting the Car Workshop from scratch, you will only have a 2-car capacity and must work your way up from there.



As you walk into this smaller room as shown above, you will notice a computer, which you can access by pressing the ‘RETURN’ near it. This is the ‘Ad-Hawk Autos’ computer, which you will need to buy and sell cars. You will also notice that there are ammo boxes to store your ammo, money safe to store your money in, and QUB3D all in the room.

Computer



Once you go onto the ‘Ad-Hawk Autos’ computer, you will see the page above, which would show you details about the amount of parts you are holding, sales made etc. You can press the ‘LEFT’ or ‘RIGHT’ arrow key to navigate through the pages.

Cars




This page should show you the current cars that you have in stock, the repair time unless it has been repaired, whether there are any sell offers for the car with any required parts to add if necessary, or whether any car has parts added to it.

Parts



On this page, you will be able to view the amount of parts that you have bought, which will be needed as there are required parts that need to be added on some vehicles, which gives a car a higher selling price. Furthermore, you can only stock up to a maximum of 10 parts for each part and the prices for each part stay the same. You can only buy 1 stock at a time.



To pick up each part, you will be using vehicle ‘Burrito’ and you will have 5 minutes to pick up the stock at a destination and deliver it back to the workshop. Here is what each stock should look like:






If you want to add a part onto a vehicle, you can simply press the ‘RETURN’ key near the car and add whatever part is necessary (adding Color is free). Alternatively, if you want to remove a part from a car, simply press the ‘RETURN’ key near the car > ‘Part Name’ > *Select None*.

Buy Offers



This page is extremely important as it would show you the current cars that you are able to purchase. To make the highest profit, you will need to buy the rarest cars such as any of the Hotring Racers or Hotknife etc that have a Low damage time. If you are unsure about how rare the car is, simply look at the price you can purchase it for. If you can purchase any for $10,000 it shows that the car isn’t rare and will make little profit. However, a rare car such as an Infernus would have a higher price of $60,000 as shown above.

Damage

You should always aim to buy Low damaged vehicles as they have a faster repair time than Medium and High damaged vehicles. Here is how the system works:

Low damaged vehicles = 2 hours to repair
Medium damaged vehicles = 4 hours to repair
High damaged vehicles = 6 hours to repair

Ideally, you should hope to buy Low damaged vehicles that are rare. This would allow you to make more profit in less time. Buy offers change from time to time, so if you aren’t happy with the current buy offers, you can simply wait, and it will eventually change. To pick up a car that you have chosen from the buy offers, you will be using vehicle ‘Tow Truck’ as shown below, and you will have 5 minutes to hook the Tow Truck to the car and deliver it back to the workshop with caution that the car does not blast, otherwise it would have to be restarted.




Sell Offers



This is the page you can look at to check any sell offers there are for cars in the market. Alternatively, you can check from the Cars section as well for any sell offers, but this page would show you sell offers for other vehicles apart from the ones that you already own. Once a car has been fully repaired, you are able to sell the car with any required parts if necessary when an offer arrives. You will have 5 minutes to deliver the car to the destination to get the money. An example of this is shown below:







Upgrades



To become successful at Car Workshop, you need to ensure that you purchase all these upgrades as fast as possible, so you can maximize your profit. Here is how each upgrade works.

Medium car workshop capacity and Large car workshop capacity

When you purchase medium car workshop capacity, you will be able to hold 4 cars in stock, instead of the default 2. To purchase this upgrade, a minimum of 10 sales are required.

To purchase large car workshop capacity, you will be required to purchase the medium upgrade first, and 50 sales would be required to purchase this upgrade and you will be able to hold 6 cars in stock.

Car Traffickers



You can hire a car trafficker which would allow you to steal a fully repaired vehicle once per 6 hours. To purchase this upgrade, 10 sales are required. This upgrade is incredibly useful as you don’t have to wait for any repair time and can sell the car straight away when an offer comes. An example of this is shown below:


The car that you steal is randomized, so you can get something that is rare, or maybe you won’t, it all depends on luck.

Once you enter the car, you will attain 1 wanted star.

Once you arrive at the area to steal the car, you will see an NPC designed specifically to kill you as you can see in the screenshot above so make sure to bring a gun along with you. You will have 5 minutes to steal the car and bring it back to the Car Workshop.

Computer Diagnostics

Computer Diagnostics is an upgrade that must be purchased for the Car Workshop and no sales are required for this and here is how the upgrade works when it is purchased. Occasionally, you will receive a notification on your /phone > Messages about the mechanics needing help to repair some cars in workshop. To help the mechanics, simply press the ‘RETURN’ key on the Computer located between the 2 platforms and start repairing. An example of this is shown below:





By repairing the vehicle, you will reduce the repair time it has by 30 minutes, which makes it an efficient upgrade.

Vehicle Upgrades



You can add upgrades to the Tow Truck and Burrito through the gentleman in the screenshot above. When you add ‘Vehicle upgrade’, this will add 100% Vehicle Armor, Bulletproof Tires, and Nitrous 10X. The Color that you add to the vehicles will be permanent.
